FREE SHOWER FOR ONDOY VICTIMS. DZMM rejuvenated over 800 typhoon victims at the ULTRA evacuation center recently through the “Kapamilya, Shower Na” project, which treated the evacuees to a ten-minute shower each, complete with free towel, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, and deodorant aboard a container van with makeshift shower cubicles.
DZMM's “Kapamilya, Shower Na,” which was conceptualized by anchor Ted Failon of “Tambalang Failon at Sanchez,” will continue to deliver this unique brand of public service to different evacuation centers with the help of Sagip Kapamilya of the ABS-CBN Foundation and donors. Watch out for the next stop of "Kapamilya, Shower Na!" on DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 and DZMM TeleRadyo (SKYCABLE 26).
